“As a Project Manager, what are your daily responsibilities?"
I work closely with our customers, supporting them in all phases of a project. This may include quoting different parts and molds, or even connecting them with our PTA subject-matter experts for different solutions in areas such as part design or validation.
"You were previously a Project Manager and Case Manager at Roechling Automotive. What were your daily responsibilities in that role?"
I worked at Roechling Automotive for 5 years as a Project Manager. My main responsibility revolved around supporting Honda. This included everything from procuring prototypes for different vehicle builds, to working through validation test plans for the series production of the vehicle.
"What are some of the goals you have being a Project Manager at PTA?"
One of my goals is to learn more about the medical validation process. At PTA, I’ve had the chance to do so, and even got to attend a training session for “Internal Auditing : Medical Devices”.
"What are some of the challenges and plans that you currently have in your position at PTA?"
Being quite new to PTA, I’m still learning as I go. One challenge that I had not expected, comes with the wide variety of customers we have and the different requirements each has.
"What are some of your favorite parts about working at PTA Plastics and why?"
My favorite part about working at PTA is the wealth of knowledge everyone has here. There are many things I don’t know, but I can always ask internally for support!
"What impact does your role have internally and on our customers?"
I think my role has a large impact internally, due to being the main contact to the customer. It is important, because I convey the customer requests/requirements to our internal team, but also vice versa, relay issues/concerns from our internal team to the customer.
"Can you tell us some facts about yourself?"
Hometown? Vilseck, Germany
Favorite Sports Team? University of Kentucky Basketball (go Wildcats!)
Favorite Vacation Spot? Cruise! Preferably somewhere warm
Favorite Hobby? I enjoy going to different sporting events. It’s been great being so close to the Denver sports teams.
Favorite Food? Big fan of tacos!
What do you like to do on the weekends? I try to join a sports league on the weekends. Typically, basketball in the winter and soccer in the summer.
